Infertility Counselling
Infertility is a medical condition that touches all aspects of your life. It may affect your relationships with others, your perspective on life, and how you feel about yourself. Consider counselling if you are feeling depressed, anxious or so preoccupied with your infertility that you feel it is hard to live your life. You also may want to seek the assistance of a counsellor if you are feeling “stuck” and need to explore your options.
I work with people concerned about their fertility, experiencing infertility or living involuntarily childless. Supportive counselling focuses on the process before, during and following assisted conception treatment (e.g. IVF) for individuals and couples. It provides a safe place to explore the impact of fertility treatment, especially where using donor eggs, and/or sperm or embryos or donating gametes to known or unknown recipients.
